The Marin County Parks Services has had many successful projects. The first one was the Inclusive Access plan. This project allowed easier access to the Marin County Parks Services so that complaints could be easily heard from civilians.
The next project was the Bolinas Lagoon Ecosystem Restoration Project. This project was very successful in reducing the amount of human impact on the ecosystem at Bolinas.
After the Bolinas project comes the Marin Wildlife Picture Index project. This project was aimed at improving surveillance on Marin county parks. The reason increased surveillance was needed is due to the fact that if you can not monitor habitats and animals then you will never know what is wrong with them.
The Road and Trail project was a large project based on improving the roads and trails surrounding local parks. The reason this would be so important is to make parks feel more inviting and therefore receive more visitors.
The San Geronimo Valley Upland Habitat Restoration project is the next successful project. This was essential to save the Cocho salmon in California. The San Geronimo Valley is the only place that Cocho salmon live in California, and if the Marin County Parks Services had not stepped in then it would have been destroyed.
The Biodiversity and Vegetation Management plan was one of the larger projects MCPS has ever done. This project was quite successful in improving biodiversity in close to all of the parks in Marin.
In addition to this project was the seventh project named the Biodiversity and Vegetation Projects. This last project successfully reduced pollutants in the MCPS facilities.
