Evolution Unit Reflection
In my STEM class we have finally finished one of the units for the semester. It was quite a long one. We started with basics, learning each phyla and class of animal there was. We even dissected a couple of them. The animals we dissected include a sponge, jellyfish, frog, squid, earthworm, and a grasshopper. I have info on the dissections on a different page on this website. Next we created our own transitional species. My group decided to make a combo between reptile and bird. The video of that reptilian bird is on this website too. We made a reptilian bird basically so that we can make a dragon. We named our transitional species Swaggasaurus-Rex. Overall, I loved the evolution unit. We explored so many new topics that I did not even know the topics were still included in the evolution unit!
